Sunday of Divine Mercy
There are many things that could be discussed this week since it is the first Sunday after Easter and also Divine Mercy Sunday. [Lyse] chose to start with that week’s Gospel and Discussion from "The Complete Children's Liturgy Book".
Supplies

Instructions
You will first need to print the template onto cardstock or construction paper. Either will work.
The prayers then need to be cut out, which you can either do yourself, or, depending on age and time available, let the kids do it.
Using a single hole punch, punch out the black circles in each prayer cutout.
Tie one end of the yarn to the tip of the cross cutout, and then weave the yarn through the "beads", going in through the bottom (towards the back) and out through the top (towards the front of the prayer bead).
Continue to weave the yarn through each "bead" until the last prayer is reached. At the end, you can either tie off the yarn immediately at the bead, or create a loop (to hang the craft) and then tie it off.

Reflections
For the sake of time, I cut out the prayer beads and lengths of yarn ahead of time on coloured construction paper. Then the kids only need to colour the cross, and even that step can be skipped if you run out of time.
