The Good Shepherd
"I am the good shpeherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
- John 10:11
For this week, [Caroline] took her inspiration from this website:

"I’ve used this website for inspiration for several projects. Take note that Lacy, the creator of the website, homeschools and most of these projects are meant for homeschooling older children. I always need to bear this in mind when borrowing ideas from her since it normally means I have to do more preparation or that I have to leave more time for the project during the session.
At our church we collect toilet paper rolls because they are often required for projects, so we had them on hand. All I did for preparation was print the page and cut the pages in half so I could give out two sheep for each shepherd.
We didn’t bother doing the fence. I was worried about the amount of time we would require for the project, so I let the children colour while I read the passage. Then we worked on cutting out the shepherds and gluing them. Generally speaking, the kids love projects involving toilet roll dolls as they get to play with them during Mass!"
