The Ascension of Christ is the day in which Jesus, after having risen from the dead, finally ascended into heaven, and took his seat at the right of God, the Father, as is stated in the Lord's prayer. Upon his parting with the Earth, Jesus said to his disciples: "Go into the world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature." And the disciples did so, guided by Christ in their hearts.
