Jesus Heals the Blind Man
This week was a difficult one to do for the children's liturgy, as the Gospel reading is not a particularly well known one. Of course it is significant, but finding activities for it proved to be a challenge. That being said [Gillian] turned towards trusty Pinterest, as well as catholicmom.com to find some inspiration.

The original colouring page is from here: http://www.freefunhalloween.com/halloween-coloring-pages/shine-his-light-halloween-coloring-page/, and the pumpkin prayer is from here: http://1stgradewithmisssnowden.blogspot.ca/ with a little bit of editing on Gillian's part.
This week's gospel was the story of Jesus healing the blind man, Bartimaeus, and saying "Go your way; your faith has saved you." Thinking back on it now, there was the potential to do more than a colouring page this week. [Gillian] had looked into doing masks, but couldn't quite find a mask that could be easily detected as something the kids had made in the children's liturgy. If anyone has any suggestions about how to incorporate mask making into the program, it would be most appreciated.
Luckily, with it being so close to Hallowe'en, there were some other options.
Any feedback? Feel free to leave a comment!
Also, here's some samples of what Gillian and one of the kids did. Can you guess which is which? :)
